Every morning our ovens are already warm. We mix, shape and bake in small batches so the case is full of soft, fragrant pan dulce when the doors open — and so the conchas you take home taste like they just came out, because they did.

Mi Panaderia is a family-run Mexican bakery rooted in the West Valley. We bake the breads we grew up with — the conchas after school, the bolillos at the dinner table, the tres leches at every celebration — and we share them with our neighbors here in Avondale.
